Yogic counselling combines the wisdom of yoga philosophy with supportive dialogue to help you navigate life challenges, stress, and inner conflict. It is a space where traditional yogic principles—self-awareness, breath, and mindful reflection—meet compassionate listening.

Stress

When tension lives in the body and mind, the breath becomes your first anchor. We work together to notice what triggers stress and how to respond—not react—with calm.

  • Notice: Observe where stress shows up—in the shoulders, the breath, or the thoughts—without judgement.
  • Breathe: Simple pranayama and gentle movement to restore harmony between body, mind and energy.
  • Release: True relief comes from within—learning to let go of what you cannot control and return to the present.

Grounding & Śānti

Anxiety

Anxiety can feel like the mind running ahead of the body. Yogic counselling offers a safe space to slow down, anchor in the breath, and build a steadier relationship with your inner experience.

  • Ground: Bring racing thoughts back to the present—to the body, the breath, the here and now—with gentle, repeated practice.
  • Steady: Pranayama (such as extended exhale or alternate-nostril breath) and mindful reflection to cultivate inner calm (śānti).
  • Carry forward: Take home simple, practical tools—breath, pause, grounding—that you can use whenever anxiety rises.

Tejas & Reconnection

Depression

When the world feels heavy or meaningless, yoga philosophy and compassionate dialogue can help you reconnect—with your body, your breath, and the possibility of light again. This is a non-judgemental space to move at your own pace.

  • Reconnect: Gentle support to come back to the body and breath—no pressure, no “shoulds,” only presence and care.
  • Dialogue: Mindful, one-on-one conversation that honours your experience and draws on yogic wisdom—not to fix you, but to walk alongside you.
  • Inner light (tejas): Step by step, restore a sense of meaning, hope and agency—true change kindled from within.
